The Final Night….. :)
Well, I believe that time really do flies and without us realizing it, its already the last night. Tomorrow, we will all part our own ways but I believe that the bonds that we have throughout these days will not just end here. Today, we went to Pasir Penambang where we learned about life hardships and when we were back we just did our assignments until we didn’t realize time passing by saying goodbye. But when we saw the results, we were all impressed and the hardwork that we put in realy does pay off.
ALL HAIL BRATs 2012, till we meet again.. :)

We Walked to the Left and We walked to the Right!
Yet again, our seniors has got us participating in a ‘sing-a-long’ activity before getting back to work. We did some dancing, hopping, shuffling and etc… But most of all we had the chance of introducing ourselves once again to each other. We had great laughs together, didn’t we? Anyway, back to work now. Au revoir. <3

MILO addict :D
Best day ever. Spoke to an old man working as a wholesaler and he remembered me of my grandfather… His an amazing person and the Pasir Penambang surrounding is peaceful and small. The bus driver drove fast today. He drove too fast till he miss a turn. Feeling uneasy sitting at the back of the bus. Lunch was served and everyone was rushing to complete the assignments. While completing the assignments, I ate MILO powder cause I needed glucose… MILO POWER (Y)
We did our field assigment at a small fishing village called Pasir Penambang today. The villagers there were friendly and willing to share their stories with us. My group also came across these two tourist from Korea and France.

Fishing for stories
Day 3 brought us to a small fishing village called Pasir Penampang. Getting stories from the local people was like throwing raw meat into shark infested waters. The amiable and very friendly residents were more than willing to talk to us about their life in the village. Even more surprising was when we walked past a localkopitiamand the town folks asked us to take their photos. You may be thinking that these are young kids who always throng but these were in fact men in their 60s who were merely enjoying the beautiful sunny with each other cracking jokes and chatting. They even posed at us while still cracking jokes as though they were still school boys.
If anything, the Brats programme taught me that everyone has their own stories and you never know what you’re going to find. Even the smallest nook and cranny may have a big story to tell. The only problem is deciding which one is the best.

BRATs Lifestyle (Day 1 & 2- summarized)
Interviewing, photographing, videographing, writing, socializing…. phewww, the list just goes on and on and on…. however, this workshop has been one of the best in my list and i guess it will be forever and ever and ever… so yeah, making new friends, having fun and to top it all being a journalist are some of the coolest stuffs here….:)
Divyaa…xD
The first try in BRATs…
Journalism is really a new thing to me.
This is the first time working on it with a team, I found it’s great and fun.
Anyhow, we make mistakes but we are trying to overcome it by learning .
It’s really a good try and an awesome experience in BRATs on journalism.

I’ve been thinking really long for a title
Drained. Exhilarated. Pumped. Just a few words to sum up how I currently feel. I’m really enjoying the workshop so far despite the flea infested bed, yellow tinted water with a hint of what I may call lemon flavouring they serve us as drinks, which are tasting somewhat better day by day. But hey, I’m not here for the drinks or to laze around on the bed (which has rollers underneath). Anywaaay, never have I been in a room with so many talented people who share similar interests. Day 2 is coming to an end soon (wait, not really, it’s only 3:36pm), can’t wait to see wait Day 3 has in plan for us!
